What is the HD SIPP?
Financial Planning for
retirement is very important. It should be the most critical decision you
make and one made with confidence.
The HD SIPP aims to provide an alternative to conventional personal
pensions by offering the individual control of their pension arrangements.
The SIPP allows the freedom to choose where funds are invested, within
certain HM Revenue and Customs restrictions.
An extensive range of investment opportunities is available within the HD SIPP and it also allows full flexibility of options for drawing retirement benefits, including the ability to commence benefits from age 55 and without having to cease working.
With full tax relief on allowable contributions, tax free growth on investments except advanced corporation tax on UK share dividends, and the ability to pay a tax free lump sum on retirement, and to pay benefits on death before age 75 which are inheritance tax free, the SIPP gives significant tax advantages.
The HD SIPP offers value for money, running on a very low fee basis. Fees do not vary with fund size or contribution level. Indeed, no charges need to be deducted from contributions as they can be paid as an additional item. The product is also designed to accept transfers from previous pension arrangements and at any time these can be added to by further transfers or by contributions.
You should be aware that there are alternative pension arrangements available, such as Stakeholder Pension Schemes which may be more suitable.
The HD SIPP is offered without pensions or investment advice. A SIPP may not be suitable for all investors, and if in doubt you should consult an Independent Financial Adviser.
